Last Day of MARCH

Today first session was taken by Benedict sir. Sir taught us about some skills in microteaching. Next hour, Gibi ma'am discussed the different defence mechanism. She used many examples to explain the concept more clearly. At the end of the period, Maya maam came to the classand shared her memories with Gibi ma'am. Some of us also shared their experience. We sang beautiful songs for Gibi ma'am and took photos with her. In the afternoon session, Malayalam association 'Pragati' conducted a drama competition. Students from four optionals performed and Physical science won the first prize.

In the first hour, we had optional class. Deepthi ma'am taught us some skills of microteaching. She explained each subskills with examples. Ancy ma'am explained the contributions of western thinker Froebel Froebel -  Father of Kindergarten Archana ma'am discussed about intelligence and different intelligence test.

In the first session, we had yoga class. Surya Namaskar was taught during that session . After that, we had Maya ma'am class. Natural Science students continued their presentation about "alcohol abuse”. The seminar on corruption was also started.  Then, we had Benedict sir’s class. Sir explained about various microteaching skills.Then sir discussed the sub skills in set induction and stimulus variation.

66TH COLLEGE UNION & ARTS CLUB INAUGURATION

Inauguration program of our 66th College Union and Arts Club was started  by flash mob of MTTC students. 66th College Union name " Advithiya"    revealed by Mr. Abhilash Mohan, reporter of Mathrbhumi news. The official meeting at the auditorium started. Abhilash sir inaugurated College union and delivered a beautiful speech. Then Aswath Lal, cine artist inaugurated Arts club. In the afternoon session, cultural programmes of students conducted different group dance, group songs, skits,....

Water Is Precious

World Water Day, held on 22 March every year since 1993, focuses on the importance of freshwater. It celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. Life without water is impossible.  Save water. Save life. With every little drop, a day less to live on earth. Theme for World Water Day 2022 : " Groundwater : Making the invisible visible " Natural Science association 'Horus' conducted a placard making competition on the topic Valuing water  in connection with World Water Day.

Pi Day Celebration

March 14 marks Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. Pi is actually an irrational number that ismost often approximated with tge decimal 3.14. It's a special day for those who love Mathematics and want to honour Albert Einstein. Ancient Greek mathematician, Archimedes of Syracuse is considered the greatest mathematician of the ancient world, is credited with doing the first calculation of Pi. Our Mathematics association 'Dyuthi' conducted a quiz program 'Pi Day Celebration'   in connection with Pi day. Malayalam optional won the first prize and Physical science team became the runner up.

March 8 marks International Women's Day-a global celebration dedicated to uplifting women and honoring their achievement. First class was taken by Maya ma'am. She gave a short message on women's day and wished Happy Women's Day  to all of us. She asked the boys to share their views on this special day for women. English and Natural Science students presented their seminar on the topics Class and Caste and Drug Abuse. George sir taught us some of the asanas like Vajrasana, padmasana, naukasana, shalabasana, etc. After lunch, Deepthi ma'am entered into the classroom. Sr Jisha presented her reading and reflection on the book അഗ്നിസാക്ഷി.  Then we had seminar on the topic Supervised Study by Sruthi. She expained each points clearly. Physical science organized a flashmob on this day. They prepared the dance in an hour.At last, we celebrated women's day under the leadership of bindhu teacher. We arranged different programs like dance, song, quiz competition, etc.
